This website is run by Mathias Kessler, Walserstraße 75, 6991 Riezlern (Kleinwalsertal), Austria, info@mathiaskessler.com. He is responsible for the processing of personal data described here under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).
Short version
This site sets no tracking cookies, uses no advertising, and does not sell or share your data. Visitor statistics are counted anonymously. Personal data is only processed when you write to us.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by DreamHost (New Dream Network, LLC, USA). When you visit, the server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser type. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted by the host after a short period. Transfers to the USA are covered by appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 ff. GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Fonts
All fonts are hosted on this server. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other font service.
Visitor statistics
We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia, EU) to count visits. Plausible uses no cookies, does not store IP addresses and cannot identify individual visitors; all data is aggregated and stored in the EU (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Inquiry form and email
If you use the inquiry form or write an email, we process your name, email address, the work you ask about, your message and the page you wrote from, in order to answer you and, if applicable, handle a purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are delivered by email and kept in our mailbox, which is provided by Google (Google Ireland Ltd.). We keep correspondence as long as needed for the inquiry and as required by statutory retention periods for business records. Your data is not passed on to third parties unless required for shipping an order.
Videos
Films on this site are streamed from Bunny Stream (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia, EU). When a page with a film loads, your browser connects to Bunny’s servers, which receive your IP address in order to deliver the video (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The link to Instagram is a plain link. No data is sent to Instagram (Meta) unless you click it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies for visitors. Technically necessary cookies are used only when the site owner logs in to manage the site.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. To use these rights, write to info@mathiaskessler.com.
